"Friendliness of team, well managed and nothing too much trouble. We paid for the upgraded room and it was very comfortable, quiet and a sea view, well worth it. Sometimes hot water in the shower was an issue but had a bath instead. Dining room and bar area very modern and a lovely place to eat breakfast and sit and chat."

I did not personally love the layout of the rooms especially in terms of plugs, as these could be difficult to find (even behind someone's head on the bed headboard), however this is a very tiny thing and generally speaking everything went well and was easy. "We had the most amazing time at Shoreside Inn. Our hosts were Andy and Jo who were great and went out of the way to make our stay super comfortable. They let us check-in early as and also store our luggage for a few hours after check out. Andy shared a number of useful tips on things to do around the area. He has immense knowledge of the Island and his tips came in very handy. The hotel has a brilliant location right on the sea front. Our room was on the ground floor and had a patio with a beautiful view. The room had all amenities for us to have a very comfortable stay. Thank you Jo for feeding us the yummiest fresh breakfast and the most delicious pastries. You are a star. We would recommend this amazing place to anyone who is looking to stay in Shanklin. We will definitely come back here again."
