After booking a standard suite, the hotel offered an upgrade to a deluxe suite for only about 80 dollars more per night. This room was amazing. A private pool in the room with a veranda, a bed that was the size or 2 king beds put together, and amenities that I have not found in any other stay. The breakfast buffet was to die for and they had so many options available on their app once you checked in. They even offered free spending money...for about 300 USD, you got an additional 200 USD for spending on the restaurants and drinks and snacks and other activities such as the spa. The multiple on site restaurants and first class for any hotel and you can even sign up to learn from one of their international chefs

This hotel was amazing to stay at after our 15 hour flight. It was in a great location to experience Bangkok. Easy transportation, a lot of shopping around the area. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options for American style breakfast or Asian style. Staff was amazing with room service, booking our flights for Phuket, and airport transportation.

The resort is stunning. Our suite and plunge pool were lovely with incredible views, though as a family of four it was too snug and we would book two rooms next time. Service at the spa, pool and bars was excellent — warm, attentive and genuinely brilliant. Many frontline staff were friendly, but management interactions often felt controlling rather than solution-focused. Food was disappointing. Thai dishes were poor compared to elsewhere in Thailand, while European food was better. Restaurant service was extremely slow and chaotic. A bottle of water took four requests and 20 minutes. Meals often arrived randomly, with some guests finishing mains and dessert before others received their main. Even soup took 30–45 minutes. While our view was stunning, others in our group who booked more expensive suites had car-park views. Beach access is excellent, but there is no seating or service — just towels on the sand. The Christmas Eve and Day events looked spectacular, but food temperatures were unsafe (melting cheese, overly warm smoked salmon). All of us became very unwell. WE DID NOT ASK FOR A REFUND — we raised this only to help the next event go better — but received no response. The Baht Booster is not a scam but is misleadingly described; it works as a limited discount, not as advertised. A beautiful resort let down by food standards, slow dining service, defensive management and poor transparency for the price point.

The resort is on a beautiful property, the beach is great and you can walk down it to the town a km away. The buildings themselves are dated and need a touch up. The service is bad. Our room wasn't ready for the 3 pm check in. Cleaners only came by our special request once in 4 nights. We had 3 guests they took all our towels and left us with 2. We had no hot water for 2 days, they apologized with 6 chocolates, hardly compensation for a delayed check in and no hot water for 2 days. Then we found at dinner time there wasn't enough hot water to go around. Also it rained and they didn't have enough umbrellas for everyone. They also don't allow outside food or drink at the beach or pool but charge a fortune for their drinks, that is if you can find the bartender. They add 17% in fees onto food and drinks so in the end a cocktail will cost more than double at times triple outside the resort. I have stayed in 8 hotels in SouthEast Asia and this was by far the most expensive and by far the worst service. We did find out that room cleaning does come, it comes in the evening when your in the room. I guess we were just not patient enough.

Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Excellent service rooms were very clean. The gym was very nice. And the swimming pool was gorgeous. Room service was quick and the food is good.
