It’s a charming hotel. Has a lot of history I am sure. It’s not a glamorous hotel that is modern and new, but it’s been given a lot of care which I respect. The grounds are very nice and scenic. Rustic. It’s quiet, the full kitchen was awesome - like a 1 bedroom furnished apartment. If you want perfection and sanitized soulless staying, pry not your place. If you’d like a uniques stay that is quiet, easy parking, great location, a degree of solitude and peace, you’ll like it. Don’t expect immaculate condition and like new perfection. Enjoy it for what it is. I did.

I arrived slightly after 6pm and staff was not no longer on site. I have tried to communicate several times via phone/text - no response. Only got automated welcome messages :( it was very frustrating. Fire alarm in my room was beeping for no reason for over 30 min late night. No response from staff. Needed extra blanket - zero response. I do not understand how this place got good reviews, my room looked VERY outdated and unpleasant :(
