I found my room to be just okay given the room rate. The desk chair was ragged. I found the ice tongs on the floor behind the chest/TV stand upon arrival. I was there for 4 nights and had one plastic bag for ice. There was nothing written in the room providing information about the hotel other than an "honor bar" list and a scan code for dining. The hotel information on the TV was not helpful, only an advertisement. I was charged for a canned soda from the honor bar I didn't touch let alone drink. It showed a live music event on the daily event board, but when I got to the rooftop lounge, there was just a DJ, and I was told they no longer will have live music. It was however in walking distance to the Phoenix Convention Center and there were good places to eat and shop close by.

The hotel has a stylish lobby with a really cool marble fireplace on the second floor, a nice spot to hang out, and that exits onto a pedestrian walking area. Conveniently, a Frye’s grocery is across the street. There are numerous restaurants just steps away. Chico Malo was wonderful upscale Mexican food, beautiful and delicious. The fourth floor has a lovely pool and a cool rooftop bar. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. It worked out well for attending a convention, only 3 blocks to get there. There is morning coffee on the 2nd floor and throughout the day there was ice water infused with strawberries. My only negative I can think of is that our room’s furnishings, while stylish, were getting worn, the upholstery was peeling off the chairs, but maybe that was just this room. I would stay again.

Needs a facelift

The room was clean but the vinyl upholstery was flaking off the chair fabric. All of the staff interactions were great. The morning coffee bar was a winner. The "living room" was a great place to meet. I think this was a bit overpriced, but it was very convenient to the Convention Center.

Beds were very firm. The restaurant that is attached to this hotel allowed us to wait to be seated and poured us water then informed us that the kitchen was closed at 9:30 when the restaurant was open until 2AM. This is a busy party area and the noise level matches it.
