The apartment itself was clean and had all the basic necessities, but the stay was far from smooth. The instructions for finding the building were really unclear nowhere did it mention that apartment 650 was actually located inside the leasing office building, so we had to walk around with our luggage trying to figure it out.
The building also had a really unpleasant smell in the hallways, which I understand might be out of their control, but it didn’t make a good impression.
The biggest issue, though, was the AC. We weren’t able to control the temperature ourselves. The fan was extremely loud at times, and when we tried to turn it off, the system said it was “occupied,” as if someone else had control of it which was honestly strange and frustrating. We’d come back from being outside to find the apartment hot and uncomfortable, and there was nothing we could do. It was especially embarrassing when we had two friends over for breakfast and couldn’t even cool the place down.
Overall, it’s a nice-looking apartment, but the poor communication, smell, and AC situation made the stay disappointing.
