We reserved a pet room. Checked in at 3 pm to get ground floor, desk clerk was great. Late in the evening when finally entering the room it stank of urine. I slept on the couch which REEKED of dog pee. Too ;ate to switch rooms. When mentioning to the desk clerk in the AM, he couldn't care less and gave us no satisfaction or indication that the mess would be cleaned up for next guest. We've stayed in several La Quintas pet rooms & never had this type of issue. Avoid pet room in this hotel.

When we arrived on Thanksgiving day, we were directed to enter at the back of the property where there was an elevator, because the elevator in the lobby was put of order. Despite that door having a sign stating that the it was locked 24 hours per day and a room key was requied to enter, the door was NOT locked at all. I made the front desk awate 3 different times over 3 days, and was told on Saturday morning that it "was on the maintenance man's list for that day". Nevertheless, the door was still NOT repaired when we returned that evening and it STILL wasn't repaired when we left today, on Monday 12 /1. I pointed out several times to the staff that this is a significant security concern, yet they demonstrated absolutely ZERO sense of urgency to fix the issue. In the event that anyone is assaulted, raped or murdered while the door is unlocked, this property will have absolutely NO defense against any subsequent litigation foe negligence.
