"good location view etc, they have kayaks and bikes to use. Nice location easily drive to Petoskey, next to crooked river with turtles, frogs, birds etc. For price the room was a bit dated. Also the free breakfast was not great. I realize it is "continental" but choices for pastries etc pretty low ..."

"You would never know this Inn is well over 100 years old. The Colonial Inn has been very well maintained and updated but still has that century old charm. Our A/C worked amazingly great during a very hot weekend. The staff , the breakfast , the room and the grounds were all excellent!"
