For a great scenic view of Pauanui, test your endurance and climb to the top of Mount Pauanui, the walkway entrance is at the south end of the beach just 500m away. The south end is also perfect for surfing or exploring around the rocks or you can walk or drive down to the Pauanui Surf Club for a swim before venturing back home to rinse off under the hot outdoor shower.

There is more than enough room to park your boat at Family Escape, and you’ll be able to launch at Royal Billy Point Park just six minutes' drive away.

If you’re needing to top up on supplies, the Pauanui Shopping Village is a 3-minute drive or 14-minute walk away, where you’ll find a couple of great spots to eat and also a well-stocked mini-supermarket.

As there are sections of the deck with either fixed bench seats or no barrier at this property, all guests should take care when using this area and adults should closely supervise young children due to the risk of falls.

Guests should bring their own Nespresso compatible pods to make use of the available machine.
