"The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating. My dad has Dementia and the staff made sure both he and my mum were well looked after and attended to. The beach and pool were both clean and not crowded. The food was good - particularly the local Sri Lankan dishes. And the drinks were good."

If you book the Deluxe Ocean View, you can walk straight from your room to the beach. ​Dining & Service: Friendly staff and delicious food with a great variety of Continental and Sri Lankan dishes. ​Amenities: Lots to do on-site! There is a great spa (highly recommend the head massage), games room, badminton court, beach volleyball, and bike rentals. ​The Beach & Activities: The water was perfectly warm in July. The immediate beach has a lot of coral, but just to the left of the property is a gorgeous, sandy beach perfect for swimming. There are also plenty of water sports nearby (jet ski, banana boats, snorkeling, diving). ​The Verdict: I definitely recommend Amaya over the neighboring hotels. Great stay!"
