"First of all this resort is on the water, but I reserved a studio room probably 4 weeks in advance for $347 and i probably got the worst room on the resort . I was on the 1st floor, my balcony was 3 feet from the sidewalk then bushes with a parking lot behind the bushes. Immediately the right of the balcony was multiple trash dumpers. so i get to look at a parking lot while smelling the dumpsters. Yes, i asked for a different room and of course the only room available was a water front 1 bedroom suite for an additional $280 so now we are talking $627+taxes. Having just come from the Fairmont Empress in Victoria (world famous 5 star hotel) which ran me $579/night, I was scratching my head as to why this an more expensive. Just saying...."
