Great company, great owners

Michelle and her Paradise Properties Team addressed every issue, request and questions we had, in a timely manner. Checking in to make sure our arrival was smooth. If you are really lucky you may get Denise Binns as your contact person. She is a valued employee, a caring and considerate person, whom we found so enjoyable to work with. The owner has a fabulous kitchen to work in and for our 3 month stay we were able to cook like we were at home. The location of this sweet rental allows walking to both, Rosemary and Alys Beach. We’ve never been spoiled in a rental,with a gas fireplace, to take the chill off, on those few January nights. Proximity to the beach was minutes away. Many thanks to all who made our stay memorable . Lovers of 30A

Great stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mare e Sole. The property was clean and exactly as listed and the communication from property management was proactive and very helpful. Great location and perfect amenities in the area for young families. Will definitely stay here again!

Seacrest Beach

Pros- The location is great! Right between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Bike or walk to restaurants in the area. Cons- the place was dirty. Hair sand and dirt on the floors. Management came to inspect after requesting a vacuum. They swept with a broom and left some extra bath towels. Still turned our feet black if we went barefoot. The place could use a deep cleaning. We will stay in the area again but will try a different rental.

Great location

We loved the location with close proximity to Rosemary Beach, Seacrest Beach and Alys Beach. Disliked the beach access due to the busyness of the beach and the umbrella rental company having first dibs on prime beach spots.

Great property, some noisy neighbors, could be cleaner

We made some great memories in this house on our first family vacation. The location was great, but the beach was super crowded with folks from outside the community. The neighbors behind played loud music every night and the ])property was dusty as well as the floor very dirty. Also, though the pots and cookware were okay, the lack of essentials like cooking oil, salt / pepper and herbs made for a rather expensive and wasteful purchase at the grocery (since we couldn't fly back with these). We won't fret the details, all in all great family vacation.

Great location and comfortable cottage

We had a relaxing stay the week between Christmas and New Years. The location was wonderful - we rode bikes to dinner, shop and explore. A short 3 minute walk to the beach to watch the sunset and even enjoy the warm sunshine one day. House was comfotable for our family of 5.

Great Location!

The house was cute, clean and spacious enough for our family. Some beach supplies were provided (beach cart, boogie boards and float) and appreciated. The best part was being able to walk to restaurants and shops nearby.

Great Property - VERY Crowded Beach Area

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was the perfect size for our small family, and we enjoyed riding bikes with easy access to Seacrest/Rosemary Beach areas along with a nice pool overlooking the ocean. The beach area is a nightmare during the day, though. The beach chair companies take up most of the beach and apparently need to be booked many months in advance to even have a chance of securing a couple of chairs. The area where you can setup your own umbrellas and chairs was so crowded that many people were unable to use the beach at all during the peak times of the day because there were so many people setup between the ocean and the dunes. We like using the beach mostly in the evenings, so it wasn't a huge impact for us as it thinned out around then. But if you're the type who likes to be out there during peak times, you may want to consider another location with a different beach access. Also the hosts were attentive and had everything we needed already on the property, so we didn't really need to contact them for anything.

Beautiful carriage house

The carriage house was very clean and perfectly appointed. The layout was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house is located directly between the beach and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location but beware of the beach chair monopoly.

This house was great! It was so close to beach and we could walk to everything. We walked to Alys restaurants and to the Rosemary restaurants. The house was very well appointed. The appliances were brand new and the grill was brand new. The one big negative is the monopoly of the beach by Dolce Vita Chair Rentals. They have the marjority of the beach covered in their rental chairs. There were 5 rows of chairs and the rows were probably more than a football field in length. You MUST rent chairs to have any type of access to the beach because the portion of the beach not occupied by Dolce Vita is probably 100 square feet. Seriously. You are assigned a spot at the first of the week and it does not change. If you are on the 4th row, you can’t even see the beach. You are not supposed to bring your own chairs to set up around the rented ones either. We paid $400 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. I couldn’t afford to pay for 3 more chairs for my children and could not even set chairs up for them next to or in front of us. I would have to say I would not stay in this area again because if the beach situation. We have been going to Seaside for 20 years and came to Rosemary this year for a change. I would go back to Seaside from now on. You pay too much for these rentals to not be able to enjoy the beach.
