The room was fabulous with gorgeous views of the Douro Valley, and the pool area relaxing. Room service was delicious and convenient. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. A special mention on the excellent service of Rui Cardoso. We booked a wine and cheese tasting experience on our first day. Thank you Rui for explaining all the different cheese and wine pairings. Thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was extravagant with a wide variety of food and beverages and a great coffee machine. Delicious. Plenty of car-parking available. Thanks for a great stay. "
