"The rooms were absolutely boiling. No air conditioning, flies in the hallway and lobby, very strong smell of sewage in the stairwell. Staff were okay but couldn’t help as they just offered a fan for the room that did absolutely nothing. Until they install air conditioning do not stay here in summer. ..."

"Great check-in experience. Staff was super friendly, helpful and provided excellent orientation on hotel and its amenities. Offered to help with orientation to city and restaurants. Room was not ready when we arrived but they texted to let us know when room was ready and moved our luggage into room. Food at the restaurant was good and we also tried out room service as we were watching World Cup matches. Quality of food was good but more training for staff taking order (how many people or sets of cutlery do you need? Would you like any beverages, etc.) would be helpful. Breakfast service was inconsistent. Staff did not clear tables even though they were walking by tables with dirty dishes. A teamwork and training issue? It took a while to place our order on the first morning but it was much better on the second day. Otherwise… facility is in a great location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again in next visit to Oxford."
