First off, it's very clean and conveniently located right next to the Dotonbori area, offering a wealth of food and nightlife options. Easy access to two or three different subway lines. Also, the staff is devoted. We had a room that, for some reason, wasn't getting a good wifi signal. It was full of bars everywhere in the hotel, except in our room. We informed the staff, who immediately attempted a few unsuccessful attempts to improve the signal. The next day, a new signal repeater had been installed right outside our door, and we had full bars in our room. An email was in my inbox telling me they had done that. TBH, I thought that was impressively professional.

There is no cleaning service. You have to pay extra. You have to ask to change your towels or take out garbage from your room. Sound isolation very poor.

It is always about location. It's only a few blocks away from Dotobori Street. And there are subway stations close to the hotel as well. They don't have the usual Japanese toilet though (if you know what I mean), but it's clean, so not a deal breaker at all. The hotel folks are friendly.

It’s basically a youth hostel Staff are foreigners No one seems to know what is happening or when. There 4 nights, no rubbish removed , no room serving, no towels. Doesn’t matter what sigh you put on your door , no one takes any notice or responsibility. On the positive Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Unfortunately that is it.
