Honestly, the whole hotel just felt congested on a whole. If you wanted to go to the hot springs you would have to be early or it's completely crowded. Elevators took forever and when they came they would sometimes too full making you wait for another one. Room was cramped for a solo traveler but that's the APA style of rooms. They don't use the yamato transport service even though many other hotels use this service to transport luggage to next hotels. They will recommend you some local post office but I simply just left and went to a yamato branch to send my luggage. I enjoy my time in Osaka, just not the hotel.

Never try the breakfast, so cannot review. Air-conditioning control can be rather challenging to control especially when one is trying to toggle it back from the heater to the cooling mode. The resultant can be rather stuffy if the room window is not open for ventilated. However, the street behind entices noise late into the night from party goers and pub-goers and occasionally bike riders with throttling rumble disturbing guests’ sleep. Should send more enforcement officers to patrol after 11pm to quiet down the activities. My 2-cent worth…

The air-conditioning system should be allowed to toggle behind the cooling and heating modes easily for guests. Or else, the room can get rather stuffy with the window closed. Location-wise, the street below entices lots of noises from pub-goers, party players and noisy street roamers on big bikes into the middle of night. More enforcement will be preferred for hotel guests to have peaceful night rest from their hectic day visit. Just my 2-cent worth:D

Basic, clean and functional. Close to transport options, although right on a very busy road and junction of highways so quite loud. Good having onsite cafes, restaurants, fitness center, convenience store, massages. However, the room smelled really badly of cigarette smoke one day when I returned to the room. Unfortunately there is a central fan/AC/heating system that cannot be adjusted per room, so there was nothing the hotel could do. So I decided to leave early.

Hotel is brand new and very conveniently located near Osaka Umeda station. While the room is typical Japanese business hotel, it had everything needed. The best part was the great communal bath on the 4th floor and the breakfast on the top floor. View was nice and even has a swimming pool, unfortunately too cold in November for a dip.

I booked this hotel entirely for the gym, but the gym wasn’t included in the cost of the hotel room and you had to reserve it in 30min or 45min blocks. The system was so annoying and the gym wasn’t worth it, though it did have a smith machine. There’s a full gym a couple blocks away that I used instead. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend this massive corporate hotel. The elevator was glitching causing it to stop on every floor, the “courtyard” view room has a view of a wall and no light, AND they couldn’t find my hotels.com booking. The place had no soul. Will never stay at APA chain hotels again

Limited breakfast, The staff doesn't speak English and they are not very helpful in communicating in English. The air conditioning is freezing cold throughout the building, and the room doesn't have the option to heat it. I reported this to the hotel, and they told me they didn't control the air conditioning, as it was their central system. They provided a heater, but we still got sick from the cold in the room. I really don't recommend it and don't plan to return.

Rooms are very small but that's normal in Japan. AC, because it's winter they have it set up for heat only, no AC option, had to call reception to get a small fan and we open the window for ventilation. Pretty much we slept with no heating on and the window cracked open. check out is very early 10 a.m. to have a late check out you have to pay $2,000 yen per hour which is worth it. We paid all the way to 1:00 p.m. 6,000 yen. They have a convenience store on the 4th floor in an amazing spa. So yeah it's worth it
