Close to station. Small apartment

Do not recommend for 3 people to stay was not enough room for 3 people. Washing machine did not work properly. It was advertised as 3 twin beds when in fact it was 1 single bed and 2 futons. However, The room was clean and just around the corner from nishiohashi station.

Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere

There were so many problems with our stay from start to finish. Firstly they didn’t send our code to check in till the last minute so I had to turn on roaming to receive it (meant to be sent three days prior). When we arrived there was one single bed and one futon and that was it. There were hairs through the pillows and sheets. Wi-Fi is bad. But the worst was our air conditioner stopped working on day 1 so we couldn’t heat up our room I contacted the host about this several times a day for several days and received no reply. They even read the messages (at least 10) and assured Expedia when they called about it that they would send someone, they didn’t. We stayed during winter and are from Brisbane, Australia so 1 degree nights are absolutely freezing especially with only a blanket each. It also snowed outside. Further, because it was so cold our towels would not dry so we had to blow dry them to be able to use them again!!! The whole experience was awful and we are still yet to hear anything from the hotel.

AMAZING STAY

We absolutely loved staying at Le Vida Quo. 30 second walk away from Nishiohashi station! 2 minutes from convenience stores, 5 minutes from a massive supermarket, restaurants and bars along downstairs and along the street. Nishiohashi is a quiet suburb very close to the action, take the blue or red lines to the heart of anywhere in Osaka! All the action is 5 minutes away, get yourself an ICOCA card from the ticket machine to make your travels easier. My friend and I booked two apartment right next to each other. We are glad we did. The apartments are small but very cozy and suitable for one person or a couple. The facilities are exactly what you need, toilet, shower, bath, washing machine, kitchenette and bed. The kitchenette does not have a stove top though. But with the convenience stores near by that is no problem. We stayed for two weeks, a lady came to deliver more towels and toiletries half way through our stay. We stayed in the winter, the heat pump kept us toasty the whole time. We were very sad to leave Nishiohashi. We are both planning to come back to Japan in the near future. We would gladly stay here again!

Disappointed with the room, no cleaning.

The facility is very disappointing. When we did self checking-in, we found the room had not yet cleaned and not ready for staying. There was a lot of garbage left in a bin. Some food residual (probably by the previous guest) was around the room. The blanket can be seen that just used by the previous guest last night. The toilet was left un-cleaned. We tried to contact the owner by calling, messaging through line and expedia website but no response. So, we decided to move out and looked for a hotel for stay that night. Until the next day, we got the reply and the owner came and prepare the room. My wife and my daughter were very unhappy with this. I was sorry for them as this is their first time in Osaka. PS. The owner promised to refund fee for one night but so far no action.

Service apartment type lodging

Like what previous reviews mention, this is a service apartment type lodging rather than a hotel. Hence one cannot expect any hotel type service or amenities. About 10mins walk from Shinsaibashi and Dontonbori area. There is a convenience store and 24 hr restaurant across the road. Although ageing and dated, room is still ok. Bring your own pillow if a soft pillow is not to your liking. Perhaps there might be a fire station nearby as sirens of emergency services could be frequently heard - something to consider if you are a light sleeper.

Convenient location. Private and Low Maintenance

Cute little apartment that's literally around the corner from a subway station so it gives you easy access to the city and across the road from a convenience store and laundromat. Great value for people who just want a place to drop off their luggage and fully experience the city. Owner is very friendly, helpful and easy to contact and the self-check in system is very simple.

Deceiving

Loved the location of this apartment being so close to subway, supermarkets and shopping. Also loved the privacy you get from not having to guess when housekeeping might arrive and the fact you have a washing machine to do your laundry. Didn't love the fact that the wifi didn't work at all when I arrived, and then kept dropping out. Photos on Expedia are deceiving as they show hot plate and cooking utensils. When I asked the owner about this, they said they were not included and did not reply to my email saying they should be as that is what is advertised in the photos. Basically the only thing that makes this better than a hotel room is the free washing machine, so I would recommend staying elsewhere at a more affordable price.

Clean and very close to subway

The direction given how to reach the apartment was clear and easy. It is super near to subway. Less than one minute walk. Apartment is clean and complete with equipment. The only thing is the mattress is not so comfort. Overall is GOOD and NICE!!

Convenient hotel

The hotel is in a very convenient location, literally just behind the nishi-ohashi station which is a 10mins walk to the main food and shopping area shinsaibashi. It is very cosy and warm at night which is very good for your winter trip.

Close to subway station and very quiet

Two beds and lots of blankets and futons. Great shower and a laundry machine for long term travellers. Wifi is strong and decent view from room. Elevator always working and never had to wait for it long at all. No stove but there is a microwave and kettle.

Small place and well equipped for budget tourists.

Nice stay although the place is small but sufficient (equipped with everything we needed). It is near the subway station NishiObashi. Convenience store and restaurants closed by. Highly recommend to those who are looking for budget accommodation.

Very near Nishiohashi Station

The apartment is a self check-in type. They forgot to e-mail us the pin to the mailbox, luckily an American who also stay in the apartment helped us and gave the telephone of Shu (manager). I called Shu, and she gave me the directions to get the key inside the mailbox. We love the apartment because of its location.

A hidden gem

this place is near the nagahori subway line. and it is just one stop away to namba station. it is also within walking distance to other subway station lines - such as midosuji and yotsubashi lines. nearby there are good eateries (udon, ramen, rice), 7-eleven and a hidden supermarket. it's a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of namba.

Close to everywhere in central Osaka.

It was nice place, close to train stations all walking distance. Room is clean good size for a couple. Only one thing we had wifi problems. We had to try few networks to get connected and all of these were slow. However the owner was helpful, tried to resolve this issue. Overall, we liked the place and can recommend to everyone.

I took 30 mins to locate the place, asked many local people and they do not know the location. However, once found, its relatively easy to get around. No hotel service throughout the four nights stay but there were adequate amenities provided. Room is a bit small but enough for two.
