Look no Further! Dontonburi just down the road, shopping galore right next to it! Close to station… food & drinks just steps away as soon as you walkout! Staff are friendly & always happy to help & answer any questions! Rooms a decently sized & clean, love that coffee & cold water machine daily (24hrs) is always available plus laundry mat inside with coin change machine. Will book again when staying in Osaka! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The breakfast was amazing and I think that the water bottle system is really good for environment. Every staff was friendly and helped a lot. Thank you for your service. The one thing was a little disappointing...the room without a bath. I was thinking every hotel has a bath but maybe it was wrong. Next time If I go to Osaka, Dotonbori, I would use this Flag hotel again.Thank you!!

Room was small with no place to put your clothes. You will be living out of your suitcase on the floor. Breakfast buffet was not great, very western. After the first day we chose to walk to McDs. Shower was great! Can't open window fully to balcony (opened only 4 inches). Can't see out the window (completely frosted). Tried to open for fresh air only to get fried food smell into the room. If you are looking for no-frill basic room then this is for you.

Hotel is very minimalist. 10 minutes walk to Dotonbori and lots of dining options. Room was decent size. Easy to move around with Shinsaibashi station close by. 3 stations away from Osaka station so very easy to get to if you’re traveling to Kyoto. They offer luggage transfer service for a fee and I used it to send my luggage to my hotel in Tokyo. Just note that it has to be sent 1 day prior to your arrival to your next destination, but depending on your next destination.

The hotel is very clean and the amenities and staff are excellent. It's situtated in a lively area and very quiet once inside. I highly recommend breakfast at the hotel. Walkable to a wide variety of shopping, food, the Dotonbori canal, and the train station. We made this our home base while we explored Osaka, Kyoto, and their surrounding areas. Of the several hotels we booked across Japan, Hotel the Flag Shinsaibashi in Osaka was our favorite.

The room was quite spacious compared to areas in Tokyo. I loved that the staff was friendly and were so accommodating I noticed that many of their staff spoke different languages besides English. Even after check out they asked if we were going to eat and we're open to holding our luggage. The area was full of restaurants and was at a perfect walkable distance from popular destinations.The hotel is definitely abit more western style but definitely had eco options to room service which we loved. They were always so clean and tidy.

Absolutely great stay here. The rooms were bigger than what we had in Tokyo. Everything looks new and clean. The breakfast buffet was great, so many options. The location is also perfect, close to the action but still a little away to have a quiet night. Staff service was great as well.
