This is only a 5 minute walk from Miami Moriachi metro station so perfect for travel to Dotonburi and beyond. It's in a quiet area so good for rest. The staff were great and breakfast has both Japanese and western options so good for filling up before heading out while giving the option of something new. The room was snug but plenty of space for the 2 of us and there was even a bath

Couple touring Osaka

Hotel location is excellent, very near: shopping area, metro-train station, restaurants. Room cleanliness is very good including amenities. Wi-fi provided free with a strong signal. Hotel staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The room size is a bit cramped/small. Over all, we had a pleasant, comfortable stay in the hotel.

Comfortable hotel with surprisingly large room for Japan. The location is a little out of the way, but still reasonable as a local metro station is very nearby.

The location wasn’t great, pretty far from Kyoto, but it was near a train station which was helpful getting into the city. The room was small (even for Japan) and smelled so horrifically of smoke I had trouble breathing. For some context I have know to be a scocial smoker and he smell doesn’t bother me, this was next level smoke smell. Maybe it was just our room, but we weren’t able to ask for a new room due to language barriers. The lobby and elevators also smelled strongly of smoke. Staff were very polite and I could tell they wanted to be helpful. That’s on us for not speaking the language.

Insect bites

This is absolutely a dirty hotel I stayed in my life. My legs were bitten by bed bugs and then inflammation, redness, swelling, pain and itching occurred next morning. I dared not go to onsen even though I booked the hotels with this facility in the following days. I went to consult a doctor after my journey because the medicine I brought to Japan was not strong enough to get rid of the pain and swellings. I would NOT stay in this hotel.

Good central location.

We had a good stay at the IL Grande. The room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was passable. The location was close to convenient stores, cafes and shopping alleys. The reception staff lacked English language skills which made it hard at time to communicate our needs.

Average hotel

This hotel is pretty average. Hotel is close to a station, however there isn't a lot around the area apart from convenience stores, local restaurants and bars. Hotel room cleanliness was average. Hotel would benefit from renovations, because it isn't very modern. Staff speak very little English, knowledge of Japanese helps. I would recommend only staying 1/2 nights.

Open window for fresh air during winter.

1. The air-con controller is misleading if you set to your comfort level e.g. 24C. In fact, it uses centralised air-con as it will not work and will blow hot air instead. So please open window if you feel uncomfortable. 2. There's no cotton bud, comb, shower sponge.

Clean and the size is good for the price paid

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The room size is good for the price paid. It's close to subway station and JR train station. Many reasonably priced restaurants and Aeon supermarket nearby.
