We spent a lovely weekend at Salishan with our two dogs. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. There are covered walkways throughout the property that are so nice on rainy Oregon Coast days. We enjoyed looking over the driving range from our room and sitting inside by the fireplace. Nearly every parking spot was full, however the resort did not seem crowded or busy at all. The room was clean and cozy, the property was also clean and well taken care of. We definitely plan to return.

So happy to hear you had a great time with your pups and enjoyed the scenery on a rainy Coastal weekend. Hope to see you again soon!

I made use of the spa. Did not dine in any of the restaurants. Also used the pool. Would definitely use the spa services again. It was very relaxing. The disappointing thing was that the whirlpool with the swimming pool was out of order the night I stayed.

The mattress was a awful. My husband and I had sore backs. The bed sunk in the middle. The mattress felt like it was original to the property. The toilet moves when you sit on it. We could hear traffic and there is no air conditioning. It was not worth the price at all.

Beautiful location. It's classic, but all a bit dated. Information given by reservation staff was wrong, which was very disappointing.

Very old, if you’re on bottom floor, you’ll get all the noise from above, no hand soap or body wash

The location and grounds are spectacular ... amid a forest near the beach. The forest bathing opportunity was wonderful. I wish we could have spent more time at Salishan. The restaurant and farmers market on the grounds were lovely. Joyce, our server at the restaurant-and the chef-were fantastic Sunday morning, going above and beyond making sure an item was made vegan for my daughter.

Great place to stay

Very nice hotel semi close to the beach. Staff is very nice. Nature trails that are beautiful, and my wife said the massage she got at the spa was the best thing of her life. Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. The only complaint I have was that the beds were not as comfortable as I would like, just a little too firm for me but that could just be me. And I recommend visiting The Attic Lounge bar and restuarant upstairs from the front desk. The food menu is small but everything I had was very good. And I can't give enough props to the staff, David, Allana, and the bartender guy who's name I did not get, they were all great and made our stay that much better. If I could rate them 6 stars I would.

Lacks direct beach access. There is access to the bay, but it is empty for the whole day and only fills at night.

I hope you got directions to the end of our spit, it's a gated community for our guest that they can drive down and relax on a quiet beach access.

Second chance, worst than first.

Rude hotel staff, to us as well as people around us. Raised resort fee without notice to travel site we booked through. The food was absolutely AWFUL. The walls are so thin, we were up all night, worse than the first trip, because of a screaming baby and barking dog. The room LOOKS nice, the bed is comfortable. But you can hear everything around you and the first time we stayed, we called about loud neighbors after midnight, with no answer.
