"*RELAXING and relax we did* Aruba owes us nothing! Our stay at Riu Palace was excellent. The time of year allowed us to enjoy ourselves as adults. We enjoyed the main buffet, Sayuri, American Grill, the Italian restaurant and ESPECIALLY the steakhouse. From check-in to check-out, it was great. Cocktails were fantastic and flowing. The bartenders were also helpful with making alternate cocktails tailored to your liking. The beach was soo lovely and nice and the Bugaloe restaurant at the pier of the beach. A few things that took away a star: -we never received an email to let us know our room was ready and had to check on it well after check-in time. -very surprised that there were no hand sanitizing stations around the main buffet and/or around the resort property. Covid is still alive and it is Flu season and people aren't always honest enough to stay at home. So all in all, hand sanitizing stations are necessary. -and instant profiling and/or "counting my pockets" was served best at the front desk when we finally got our room keys. I asked if there were any upgrades available and instead of trying to upsell me, the young lady decided to answer with "they are very expensive." As if we didn't have upgrade money. Great stay and we would definitely come again if we need a relaxing vacation!"
