"Great spot. We were in a different building in a top floor/attic apartment. Nice beds & bathroom. Good AC. Very good location. In the middle of everything but still quiet. 2 things to be aware of. It’s at the top of a lot of stairs and there is no elevator so be ready to climb. Also hot water capacity is small so with 3 of us only the first person got a full hot shower. Otherwise great!"

"This hotel is in a brilliant location, although it can get noisy at night with people from the nearby bars. It didn’t bother us too much though and we were more happy with how central we were. The room was clean with a lovely view of the city. The lady we saw who greeted us and cleaned was so helpful. She was more than happy to give us recommendations for where to go to eat. There isn’t a front desk/reception at this hotel so you do need to bear that in mind if you have any questions or issues. Having said that I think the staff were helpful and we didn’t need anything from them anyway. I would stay here again for the cleanliness and convenience of the location. And the aircon!"

"What’s good: the location is perfect, the staff are friendly and super helpful, and they provide parking near the old town. However, the hotel was very overpriced for what it was, and it’s a glorified AirBnb more than a hotel. Breakfast was just ok, on the last day we actually skipped the hotel breakfast (which was already paid for) and had breakfast in town. The rooms don’t really have a view of anything. If the room was 30% cheaper this would have been great, but it wasn’t as good as expected."

"You’ll definitely feel like a local staying in this apt/hotel. The host was very helpful, make sure to have adequate communication with the host prior to your arrival. The lobby is an art gallery during the day time and locked up at night. It’s best to coordinate with the host on “WhatsApp” so he can assist you into your room. If you don’t communicate, you really can’t go anywhere unless you do. The main city center is literally right outside your door. There’s a supermarket, literally 15 steps from the front door where soda and water, groceries are sooo much cheaper. I would definitely stay here again, it’s sooo conveniently close to everything. The boat docks are also a few steps away and the Palace is also a few steps away, probably a neighborhood block away literally. There’s room I had was very clean and comfortable, had the AC going on 24-7 while it was 90 degrees outside."
