Our room smelled of marijuana, even though we had a non- smoking room. We requested another room and we received “the last non-smoking room available”. That room also smelled of marijuana. The lobby also had an unpleasant odor.

I had a very late arrival because of long travel and the Owner graciously met me after the hotel had closed and gave me my key. This is east of Yale by about half an hour drive and I stayed here for Yale graduation. The room was large, clean, and spacious, and there was adequate parking. The premises felt safe for a lady solo traveler. Would highly recommend, especially for any Yale function because it is an easy drive, very findable. Many thanks to the Owner!

This hotel is the worst I have ever visited, it is dirty smelly, the first room we were given still had the beds unmade and the previous occupants rubbish and old towels and it stunk of Cannabis, the second room we were given had been made up but again absolutely stunk of Cannabis and there was an dirty old man sitting in an office chair Infront of the rooms asleep.

The staff is the glowing positive here, they are helpful and caring about the comfort of your stay. The problems started when I got into the room, it’s very outdated, the cable on the TV had been snapped out of the back(new tv brought in), one chair arm rest wasn’t attached to the rest of the chair, and my back was killing me after sleeping on the bed.

MISINFORMATION ON WEBSITE. CAUSED PROBEMS!

For what I was looking for, the motel was fine. The problem was the Hotels.com website had misinformation posted about this motel. The website stated it was pet friendly only to find out it was NOT per friendly. Initially the motel warned it would apply a $300 fine for anyone who brought a pet against its policy. I found this out after I booked the room and then tried to preregister on my phone. I took the cancellation insurance policy, but when I called them about cancelling, they wanted me to read a 40-page declaration page which had nothing, but outrageous reason needed for a cancellation. I book the room on the Friday I was going to spend the night - one night. One of the cancellation reasons was adoption of a child????!!!! So, if I adopted a child in the 3 or 4 hours between making the reservation and getting to the motel, I could cancel. Total rip off.
