It was very positive stay. The property is beautiful. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. The only problem I had was that my shower water would run out of my shower onto the floor so I could never really take a shower without the worry of turning the level of water too high and having a totally wet floor.

5.0 Great location in Accra!

The hotel is very clean and a great location within walking distance to many areas. I loved the hot water and great air conditioning! I've stayed here on two different occasions and was always happy with the facility and the services. Michael at the front desk went above and beyond to help with details of my stay and my needs for a late departure. Isaac was great host staff member, he was friendly, hospitable, and very attentive. I will definitely stay at Urbano again and highly recommend it to my friends!

Alisa Hotel

1.0 Not Worth It At Any Price

We booked a conference into this hotel on the recommendation of a Ghanaian colleague. While the hotel is modern, nothing worked well. The telephone and internet connections in our rooms didn't function, and laundry that was suppose to be done in one day took four; if you want hot water for a shower, this isn't your hotel. The food is adequate in restaurant, but nothing extraordinary. The staff is nice, but incompetent. That goes for the manager, who is Dutch, and who chose to scream at an employee while standing in the lobby in the presence of guests. His tolerance for allowing hookers to loiter in the bars and lobby speaks also volumes about his management style. There are much better hotels in Accra than this dump, like the African Regent.
