Hotel advertised breakfast, however did not have breakfast at all. Only coffee. Stayed for 3 nights and had to tell front desk to send housekeeping for trash, bedding, and towels. Was an ok stay. Hotel is old and could definitely use a remodel.

The room needs new mattress and everything else loos to be all original curtains, the mattress cover,the carpet, i put on my own sheets and noticed the mattress had a big pee stain. I did enjoy the size of the room & it was in a great location!.

The room leaked so much water from the room above and it flooded our room in the middle of the night and they didn’t want to do anything till maintenance got there. Water was pour out from the ceiling. They didn’t want to refund me it put me in another room

Nice room with an ocean view

We stayed at this hotel for a family vacation. The property has apparently been transitioning ownership since May so not sure if that’s why the rooms and property are pretty outdated. The room needed some work cosmetically and the bathroom needs some work but with that being said there were so pretty great things too. We had a beautiful ocean view that was an entire wall of windows facing the water. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very big, enough space for our kids to run around. Our room was cleaned everyday by housekeepers and overall we had a nice stay.

Prior to my booking I called (3 separate conversations with hotel staff) the hotel to make sure that they had provided a Ada complaint room. The three folks I spoke to assured me that everything was compliant. Upon arrival, my mother who is 77 years old is an amputee and has a paralyzed left arm, realize that they gave us a regular two-bed queen room. I have to spend $89 for a shower transfer chair to shower my mom for the whole week. When asking the management to get us a Ada room, they said they didn't have any available and they would refund my money and I could go find another place to stay. I had booked this room two weeks in advance, driven 10 hours, with my elderly mom, wanted to relax with my family at the Camp Pendleton. Getting a refund and looking for another hotel was not an option. Even if I was perplexed the hotel could not make accommodations in such a big hotel. I'll never rent there again

Room was really large and nice compared to other Motel 6 ive stayed. Fairly close to beach so price was fair. But staff needs to hire security. First night there crackheads were smoking crack in stairwells. They expected everyone to just walk over their belongings on stairs. Trash on Stairs was left there for three days and never cleaned or picked up. Also, didnt notice any grass patches for pets...only a dirty small space near the fence. Lots of homeless crackheads this area. But for a cheaper motel 6...not bad, just needs work on the basics.

Not a bad place, but could use improvement

Was given a room, went to enter the room and someone was alreay in it. Went back to the front desk, told them there was someone in the room already, guy at the desk said "no there isnt". I threw to room key down and told him to go check for himself. He gave us another room, and that room was what i was expecting. Nothing more.

I booked this accommodation last October when I planned my trip under a completely different name. However, after I booked they sold and nobody notified me or told me that that they would not be honoring any reservations made under the old name after May 1st. May 30th I show up and I do not have a room. They only had one room left that would not work for us as my sister is disabled and needed her own bed. We tried to call and ask about our reservation a week prior to going and were told somebody would call us back and they never did. Expedia tried several times to contact them with no luck. Now I know it’s because there was no reservation, but somebody somewhere still had my money. Expedia made it right by covering another hotel for us immediately!

Rough stay

The stay was ok. There was a leak in the parking that gave the area a bad smell but they tried to fix. There was confusion when I extended a night. Instead of extending the reservation, they started a reservation in which I had to go back to the office to check back in. Then the maid, not understanding the situation got frustrated because she was trying to make me leave after o explained to her the situation but she never checked the office until afterwards.
