I liked that it was a very clean, nicely furnished condo and it was about 8 minutes walking distance to the Oceanside pier.
I didn’t like that the building didn’t have an elevator. We had an elderly person with us and it was quite a challenge to get him up or down the stairs. When I booked thru Expedia, that wasn’t in the description of the property. Also in the pictures on Expedia, you see what it seems like a private balcony with outdoor furniture to use looking out to the street, but it wasn’t a private balcony, it was a common terrace with other neighbors. We didn’t have the privacy to go out and enjoy coffee sitting outside. Having a balcony looking out and having some view was important for me especially important for my elderly dad to go out and enjoy some view.
When we checked in to the condo, the communication with the owner was good, she even accommodated early and late checki in. However there was no way to connect with the owner before checking in, before even booking. I would have loved to ask the questions whether building has an elevator or not, balcony or not and didn’t have the option to do so.
