Shame there is no restaurant anymore. Good selection for breakfast, all nicely laid out but the hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage had been on display for a long time and was cold. Parking very expensive.

"Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen."
