Very enjoyable stay at the Oyster Inn.

Lovely stay at the Oyster Inn, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great. We were touring our motorcycles around the West Coast and this is a very good place to stay and we will definitely stay again. Thanks.

The staff was very friendly & helpful; the food was terrific; the bar is darling; the shower is phenomenal because of the water pressure!!!; the views from the hotel breathtaking. We also liked staying just outside the city of Oban( only 5 miles distance from Oban.)

My experience was incredibly disappointing. I had booked a room for a honeymoon trip with my wife during our roadtrip to Oban. However, when we arrived, I discovered that our room was in the basement, yes a basement with just a tiny window looking out at car wheels above ground level. It was completely misleading. When I asked for a refund, I was told to contact Expedia. After reaching out to them multiple times, they confirmed that the hotel owner had refused the refund. The staff were unfriendly, and the owner lied repeatedly about canceling my reservation putting on Expedia. The room itself was cramped, with a small TV and a musty smell throughout. If your room isn't on a higher floor with a sea view, I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Let me know if you need any more adjustments!

Stayed here before in june and was impressed by everything. This time there has definitely been a standard drop in places...starting with the room room itself was clean and presentable but lots of marks on the wall...again with the bathroom it was clean but shower was showing signs of mould and the shower pipe was split causing spray and loss of pressure, there was an unpleasant smell in the stairwell to the rooms and the carpet was dirty,

The Oyster Inn was a quick stop in Oban for us, and was very convenient on our way to the highlands. The staff were very friendly. The inn is in Connel, just outside of Oban, and is more of a residential area so there’s not much to do if you’re planning on staying longer.
