La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus - Edinburgh
"Our stay was very pleasant! We just needed one night on our return trip home and we were impressed with the property. We thought it was quite new and were surprised when the Front Desk said it was about 15 years old. A great testament to the desire to keep the hotel updated and clean. The cleaning products or air freshener used made the common areas smell fantastic! Too many hotels that we stay in will have a musty smell or just not refreshing and this hotel was over the top in that area. The only suggestion would be a bit more for breakfast options. We’d been on the road for 13 days in hotels and pretty much had the exact same breakfast offerings every day. Fried potatoes or hashbrowns, pancakes, boiled eggs, fresh fruit are a few additional options to consider:). Not asking for a smorgasbord just a few other possibilities. I guess one other suggestion is we could not get very hot water in the shower. I tried adjusting it multiple times and got it to be warm, but not hot. Possibly an issue with the faucet fixture that needs to be addressed."
