The toilet chain was broken and my husband had to keep attaching it to flush. We were weary from traveling so we just dealt with it. The ceiling above the shower was moldy. My husband is an early riser and breakfast eater. He said it wasn’t fully warm. I went down an hour later and it was warmer but just ok tasting. The variety of breakfast was standard.

Maintenance was a real concern. We registered and got all of our stuff in the room. We left for approximately 1hour to eat. When we came back our door was wide open and parts to our HVAC was in the hallway. We left a do not disturb sign on the door and they came in with out notice. Not happy at all.

The room was fine. The bed was fine, the comforter didn’t have a clean smell, the couch was odd smelling and the bathroom was the problem. The faucet was dripping when we entered the room. The faucet fixture was broken or falling apart and the shower head had very little pressure. The floor looked wiped down, but not as if this was a hotel, as if it were some one’s house and they just quickly cleaned because someone was coming over. Seems low standard for a La Quinta.
