I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Vendôme in Nice, and a huge part of that was thanks to Carla on reception. From the moment I arrived, she offered such a warm and genuine welcome that instantly put me at ease — something I really appreciated as a solo traveller. Carla was supportive, approachable, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and her kindness made me feel truly looked after. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such warmth and professionalism to their role, and the hotel is very lucky to have her. She is a real asset to the team. Because of Carla, I would happily return to Hotel Vendôme. For any future travellers: if you have the pleasure of being greeted by Carla, you’ll be in very good hands. The rooms were all unique and the lobby and hallways were beautiful and clean. Staff was very helpful and we were very happy with our room. Our only complaint is when we stayed on the first floor above the lobby, the door was not insulated so we heard guests and staff very late and early.

Property is super convenient being next to the laundromat, could not be any closer. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main area of Nice & Beach / Bars all that. If you are coming from the airport, the stop is 1 block over from the hotel (3 minute walk) again super convenient, no transfers - could not ask for better. The only “problems” I had with this hotel is the 1-ply thin toilet paper & the toilet sitting high up off the ground. My 5’4 girlfriend’s feet were dangling off it. Hotel Vendome if you see this, get some thicker toilet paper! Overall: 5/5, great hotel & great location - everything is super convenient. The restaurants around the hotel and down the street are also very good. The laundromat next door is cheap & very convenient. This hotel may need a remodel in the coming years, but as of August 2025 it was great for the price.

Just ok. No shampoo in bathrooms, lots of gnats flying around. Small elevator and only steps to get up the front, no ramp for luggage. Stoic staff. Stingy with the towels. Location was decent for the sites in Nice.
