This property was incredible! The room we stayed in was super clean and spacious enough for us and our luggage to not feel cramped. It is in an absolutely prime location near the beach and fantastic restaurants. The staff were so nice and we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay in during our trip to Nice! I’d highly recommend this property. It was definitely an area / property safe for female travellers as well. The only reason this was not a 5 star property rating is due to the transportation arrangement to the property. We had arranged for the hotel to send a driver to pick us up from the train station. There was some miscommunication about the pick up time and the driver was early at the train station (no big deal) but the driver called me from a personal number and texted from the same number. He did not identify himself as being with the hotel just said he was the driver. This is very concerning as a female traveller as I avoid giving people my information abroad. We sorted it out and when we arrived we the train station, he showed up in an unmarked black car. Again I would have felt more reassured if there was some identification of a ride service etc. on top of all this, the driver was very rude to my group. He was very short tempered and this wasn’t French nonchalantness, it was rude and we were very offput by it. Then he charged €30 for a 6 min ride, which is expected when you’re visibly a tourist but still. I’d arrange my own car next time.

Location is excellent, very close to the beach and a short walk to the market, dining and shopping. The room was larger than expected. There was some confusion at check-in despite several email exchanges ahead of our arrival. We didn’t realize the room’s power only works if your key is in the special slot or that the climate control is off unless the windows are fully closed. A sign would have been helpful. We would absolutely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. The room was very reasonable and a good value for the money. My only complaint was the breakfast. There was not much more than a Continental breakfast and the price was high. I would stay here again but I would not eat here.

Extremely old hotel, building on a picture is not the same as in live, entrance like in old Turkish hotel, completely destroyed ground floor. Shower is leaking, black mold on sealings, doors are all in scratches. Long time no see something like this, it’s definitely not 3 stars, even not 2. Only can tell that managers were polite, respectful and always smiling, if not them we would change that hotel immediately even without thinking. Not cost any cent.

We only stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The staff were wonderful. The hotel is in a great location. It’s nicely decorated. However the bed is like sleeping on a tabletop. It’s so hard. And the plastic sheeting most French hotels are unsung now is so uncomfortable to sleep on. We paid an extortionate rate due to the Grand Prix weekend. This would have been acceptable if the bed at least was comfortable. We would consider returning due to the location and very friendly and helpful staff. But unfortunately won’t return due to the beds.

Good stay. Lobby was under renovation which we didn’t realize upon booking. Bed was 4/5. Balcony with sea view was gorgeous! Staff were very friendly. Good location if you want to hang out in old Nice. 20 min walk from Nice-Ville train station. Only problem is that Nice seems to have outdoor concerts on the weekends that go until 1am - and they’re right outside this hotel. We were not here to party… so going to sleep at 11pm was nearly impossible.

The hotel was next to a large park. On three consecutive evenings in was full of hundreds of young people attending some kind of "music" festival - extremely loud noise - that closed down at 11.30 p.m. We and other guests were appalled at the disruption to rest, especially having just arrived from a tiring flight. We had a room with a balcony. This was minute and contained a table and two chairs. The chairs were at a crazy angle to fit them in. We never sat out there. The sink had plumbing problems and the bathroom door could not be closed without putting your back into the operation. On the plus side we were very impressed with the breakfasts and the kind staff who served them. In all we cannot recommend this hotel. A very large hotel opposite whose guests would also have experienced the same overwhelming noise had a minimum overnight price of 1000 euros. The noise even resumed on and off in daylight hours. Not luxury but good location.

The location was good, the room was nicely decorated though it was small. The view from our window was lovely. We thought there would be a balcony with table & chairs but was only a few inches with a railing and big doors. We had to open the window doors for air since the air conditioning did not cool the room. There is a very busy main road and a concert venue in the garden next door so there was lots of street noise with that open window. The room was clean, and staff were pleasant. The hotel is under renovation, and the lobby is only a desk by the doorway. The whole experience felt like a nicer inexpensive hotel, and I feel we could have had more luxury for what we paid.
