This is not a conventional hotel; Reception is often unattended and guests are trusted to look after themselves. Maids will not enter your room when you are out to tidy, clean and make the beds, though a member of staff did offer us clean towels when we needed them. For those on a budget, there are facilities for preparing and eating food in the rooms. Everything is clean and well appointed. The staff - mostly young women, as far as I could make out - are exceptionally charming and helpful. I was contacted by a staff member a day or two before our arrival, to give us instructions on how to find the hotel and access the hotel using a pass-code. She also provided prompt information when I asked for it. Our room overlooked a main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise because double-glazing reduced external sound by at least 95%. The rooms are air-conditioned, of course. AMMI is nicely situated on the edge of the old city, just seconds from the lanes and passage-ways which make this part of town so attractive, with their bars, cafes and restaurants. I'd guess that it's a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Recommended!

Great for extended stays. Rooms are small (including shower, bathroom, and sink, but if you're going to be out and about (which if you're in Nice, you should be) then its not that big of a deal. Ample cabinet space to keep our clothes for a week. Staff was very helpful, kind, and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Especially if you want a room with a kitchenette. Just spend a little bit more for the larger room though if you can.

This is a Apartment Hotel which was not clear at the time I booked it. Staff and help availability were not convenient, check in and check out times limited. Must use code to get into building, if late at night, could become issue. outside hotel and our room was very noisy. I liked the location being close to old town.

This hotel was incredibly convenient—just walk downstairs and within a few steps, you’ll find multiple restaurants, a grocery store, and even a HomeGoods-style shop all within the square. It’s a lovely boutique hotel with only 10 rooms, giving it a cozy and personalized feel. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette stocked with all the essentials you need to whip up a quick snack, including a dishwasher, mini fridge, coffee maker, and more. The staff are absolutely wonderful—friendly, multilingual, and more than happy to assist with tour reservations or transportation needs. The location is also very accessible to the old town area, with plenty of small shops and eateries just minutes away. A great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and charm!

Hidden gem in Nice

The staff and service at the hotel are exemplary. They were great at sending communications ahead of my stay - and friendly and welcoming on arrival. The hotel is a short walk from the airport tram stop and has great access to trains, old town, the shopping district and restaurants/bars. They provide a door code for extra security in the building- so be sure to confirm it before arrival. The rooms are clean and quiet and I’d recommend selecting one with a balcony. The breakfast had a lot of variety and fresh breads. I will return on my next stay in Nice!
