Older hotel but very clean and very small shower. Great view of the falls, the IHOP is extremely over priced.

great view, reasonable rate

Pros: View was great and our bed was comfortable.
Cons: Coffee pot in room.
Location: Casinos near by
Our room was small but had a great view of the falls. closet was a cabinet but room too small to have a real closet. there was no coffee pot but there was a refrigerator. When I asked about a coffee pot, I was told outlets had to be changed to meet fire codes. Would have been nice to have coffee in the lounge for guests. We were on 30th floor and had to go to the first floor to get ice. There was a shop on the first floor that had some candies for sale but was never open while we were at the hotel..

Good view but that’s it.

The view we paid extra for was impressive. However, that’s about it that was good about the hotel. The room was small, which was fine. The shower though was shaped like a triangle, and I could barely move. The whole hotel was outdated and not the cleanest either. The layout of the room was odd too...even though we paid extra for the view of the Falls, we couldn’t see it from the bed because they had it pointed so the falls were behind the bed. There was no pool or fitness room, but we could use the embassy’s facilities next door. The Embassy was more of a hotel I would have preferred. Also, I would choose a hotel further toward all the action because it was one of the furthest away from all activities.

Low key, relaxed, no kids, great view.

Pros: Peaceful and no kids.
Cons: The store next to the lobby wasn't open much and there was no coffee for breakfast. But we just went next door to Starbucks.
Location: You can walk right out of the hotel to the falls and all surrounding activities. Walk to US side, goat island, parks, falls, everything is accessible.
The other hotels were crowded, frantic, kids running everywhere. This hotel was peaceful and relaxing. No pool or gym, but you can use the one next door. We were able to lay in bed and watch the falls! Be nice to the staff, it will get you a long way! Very gay friendly.

No notice that hotel was sold

The day before arrival the hotel changed owners. Staff walked out. The hotel didn't bother to notify customers who paid $200+ a night that the restaurant was closed, no food service, even the wedding chapel was closed (the cancelled a Saturday wedding on Friday). I was not pleased with the lack of amenities we got due to changeover and felt I paid more than I should have. They did open the bar for 2 nights to get rid of some of the alcohol. Then wanted to charge $45 a night parking from the original $22. They are taking the Marilyn bistro out and replacing with an IHOP on the 26th floor. The view from the room was excellent. And the 11 remaining staff were awesome but confused on what was happening. At this time, I would not recommend this hotel as it's not worth the extra money.

Amazing View

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are smallish, but the view cannot be beaten. The far wall is 100% window. We ate at the Skyline and while it was fine all I could think of the view was "my room is better." I wish there was a coffee maker, but the facilities are fine. Short walk to casino if you want, longer to the falls. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Best view of BOTH Niagara Falls

Pros: The view and the decor
Cons: Parking is bad and there should be signs outside the front entrance telling guests where to leave their car.
Location: This hotel is right near the Falls and is close to lots of restaurants and the casino but it is a bit of a walk to the BIG tourist area
This was an old scenic observation tower, The Minolta Tower. Cleaned, refitted with hotel rooms, you can imagine the view. The lobby reminded us of Old Hollywood era Marilyn Monroe. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and the shower HUGE.
