Sonesta Has Earned My Attention

The property is remote and away from mainstream business and traffic, which made for a quiet stay. The fellow at the registration desk was friendly at check in. The room was sufficient for business travel. I have stayed at other Sonesta properties since this stay and Sonesta has shown itself to be a consistent hotel. I will continue to support the Sonesta chain of hotels.

Saving money not worth it

Took advantage of a good deal because of key cash - only one night for a gymnastics meet. Generally room was clean but had a funky smell. Bathroom had caulking issues. The main issue was the shower didn’t work and we had to have a shower. The front desk did try to help by giving us access to another room to shower but it was not close, it was a walk-in handicap shower so water got everywhere, and it had zero water pressure. It was the worst shower ever. Asked for a couple of bottles of water and at first wanted to charge me $2.00 each. I said they should be no charge because of the inconvenience created by the shower situation. She agreed. No plans to stay at this hotel chain again.
