This is one of the original well known Cottages on the island newly remodeled and furnished! Perfect for a romantic get-away, small family, or couples retreat! Hot Tub, Large Private patio, Gas Fire Place, etc.. One Bedroom, One bath, Cozy Living room, stained wood ceiling. Interior Dining room for 6 (8 counting bar seating) and exterior lounge seating for 6-8, picnic table for 6 and hot tub for 6! Covered Parking available for 1 vehicle on property. Perfect distance between the Ferry to the beach and Marine Avenue where you will find great shops, bars and restaurants island style!

Best Balboa Island rental by far
We loved our stay at Mariner’s Cottage! We live locally and book stays on Balboa Island for staycations. We have booked more than 10 rentals of all different sizes on the island over the past 5 years and this was by far the best. Best location, best interiors, best amenities, best hosts. Perfection!
Chase’s place was perfect for our little family! It’s a in a great location with walkable access to the beach and town. The beds were comfortable and the home was equipped with everything we needed. Very easy check in/out, Comfortable and clean. Fully stocked with all you need. No fault of of the owner but the area is in a flight path of the nearby airport. Initially annoying but got use to it quickly. I even added on a couple of days.

Perfect Balboa Island Getaway
This Balboa Island cottage is such a gem. Located within a block of the water and a short stroll to the main street shops/restaurants and the ferry, we didn’t need the car at all. Everything was clean, tidy and well presented. The hot tub and firepit sitting area outside were such a treat. We would definitely stay here again.
