Agradable limpio y cómodo. Cuenta con tostadas y otros productos para desayuno. Tiene restaurante propio y pub ingles. Los domingos noche no dan cena.

Fabulous service. Characterful room with all modern facilities. All staff particularly Eve were so welcoming, attentive, and professional. Highly recommended. We will return.

Staff were very good and cheerful. Very much a local pub still, which we enjoyed, especially when the rugby was on! We were in Bedroom 8, which in busy times would suffer with a lock of privacy being overlooked by the path down the side and a glamping tent behind. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, but that's all there was, no fruit or cereal. We did enjoy our stay there however.

Lovely cosy pub, excellent food and service

A very comfortable last minute stay in this lovely pub. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable, the service outstanding and the food just delicious. The only thing I'd change is the plug and bright green fire escape lighting that illuminates the room too much for a good night's sleep. Overall a very lovely stay.

Excellent stay

Excellent accommodation. The room 'Bigwig' was large, comfortable with a spacious ensuite. Clean and well decorated. The pub did lovely food both day, evening and breakfast. We were made to feel very welome and the service was really good. Would definitely visit again and wish the guys the best of luck in their new endeavour.

We had a lovely night here on the evening of the relaunch. Accommodation was comfortable and clean with plenty of room. We had a great meal in the lounge. Really good to see a village pub taking on a new lease of life with ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic staff.

2 Nights Stay

The queen bed was made from 2 twin mattresses which were rather stiff. Our sleep wasn't the best. The shower had some mold on the caulking. The food and service in their restaurant was excellent. Also, the staff was very friendly. Walking to Highclere Castle, even though fairly close, is not recommended.

A duvet was left on floor when arrived at accommodation Couple of bits of furniture dirty & dusty Only one coat hanger in room No heating Tv didn’t work properly Black grouting in shower & didn’t drain so overflowed Also on our second day water came through ceiling as shower in room above also overflowed so dangerous with electric lighting. No information filled in on fire regulations on wall Not a cooked breakfast as advertised The room did not look as good as pictures The good things were ironing board & iron provided & hairdryer Good tea tray selection Shower gel & shampoo provided Very near Highclere Castle

Family trip to Highclere.

Booked this plqce as it's close to Highclere Castle. Check in was quick and easy. Room was nice although the mattress was a bit hard for me. Good Wi-Fi. Some nice snavlcks in the room. Booked a table for dinner and the food and service were excellent. Fair nights sleep. Breakfast is included and again cooked fresh and was great. Checked out and headed to Downtown Abbey.

We really really liked The Carpenters Arms, and we will definitely be back. We had a beautiful room, on the ground level, with a cosy vibe that reminded us of a summerhouse. Right outside our room we had a simi private space with a table and chairs. We just loved that. The staff were incredible and the food at the restaurant was great. The place is a bit remote, so it was not easy to find a nice and safe place to walk our dog at night, as they drive very fast in England. We just walked her in the garden. The Carpenters Arms was a very dog-friendly hotel though. We really felt at home, and I definitely left a little piece of my heart there.

Excellent accommodation 5 minutes from Highclere Castle, free breakfast was amazing and the food on offer from the restaurant topped the one night stay. Accomodation is not attached to the pub but a walk across the car park, room’s three doors are in need of a joiner’s attention as they need easing to stop them catching on the floor but is adequate for a reasonably priced room
