My husband and I stay at many hotels throughout the year and this was one of the worst we’ve stayed at. Usually the reviews are accurate but I do not feel the positive reviews people have left reflect this property. It is located in a more industrial area that is run down, the property itself is old and run down. The walls are very thin and our room smelled nasty. The curtains in it smelled like stale cigarette smoke even though this is a smoke free property…the curtains are old from old smoking days is my guess. The room itself smelled like nasty old food and stinky carpet. I’m okay with older facilities if they are clean but this whole property needs a scrubbing and remodeling. It was just gross. We didn’t have time to even complain and try to find another property because we only had six hours before needing to get up and catch our plane. Left before the breakfast was served so have no idea how that is but I would be concerned to eat anything set out at this hotel. Front desk people when we got in and when we left (different people) were not welcoming or friendly.

Due to Mardi Gras our 2 rooms were very expensive. It made us more thankful than ever for Hilton properties. No place to get dinner nearby though a Wendy’s is across a very busy 4 lane street with no crosswalk or sidewalks.

Very limited airport shuttle availability. Hotel needs repairs and updates. Smoke smell everywhere. Shower handle didn’t work. TV didn’t work. No food for several miles. Paper thin walls so we heard neighbors talking. Positive -Bed was comfortable.

We picked this hotel for the airport shuttle but then found out that it only runs during certain hours, which prevented us from using it for the majority of our group. We were able to use th shuttle for one member of our group but the van was very dirty and there was a bottle of some cloudy liquid sitting in the backseat. The front desk person we asked about the shuttle became very agitated with us about it. The hotel room was not very clean (stuff on the walls, etc.) and the TV didn’t work. We asked for someone to help with the TV & were told that someone would come up but they never did. The vending machines on our floor didn’t work, though we were able to use vending machines on a different floor. On the positive side, it was cheap and they allowed us an early check-in. Overall- would not stay here again.

My room was great and the property was located very close to the airport. However, I chose this hotel because they had an airport shuttle, but I still ended up having to call for an uber because they only operate their shuttle between 8am and 8pm. So if you have a later arrival or earlier departure time and want an airport shuttle, then choose another hotel.
