Really creative and thoughtful design with themed tiles, artwork, etc. makes this hotel a lot of fun as well as convenient and comfortable. The high ceilings, large bathroom for a old (remodeled) buildings, and other nice touches were pleasant surprises. It's very close to Yale and plenty of restaurants.

The hotel had wonderful unique decor, a lovely coffee shop within the hotel, a very welcoming staff and a great location in terms of access to Yale, restaurants and museums! We enjoyed it so much that we looked to see where other Graduate hotels are located.

The water pressure was TERRIBLE and NO ONE SAID A DAMN THING ABOUT IT until I asked the following morning what was going on. They said they had some company working on it but it was TERRIBLE the entire time I was there. Had I known beforehand I wouldn't have stayed there especially considering how pricey it was. Plus the entrance was not very friendly to suitcases and the accessible entrance was in the back around the corner like I was the help in some fancy house. Very convenient to Yale but not worth it.

Overall we had a nice stay, but the rooms were not soundproof so we heard a lot of footsteps above us and noise from neighbouring rooms. It’s an older building so that’s understandable, however would have preferred a bit more quiet.

Good location for Yale campus and restaurants. Hotel staff unfriendly and too disinterested to be bothered to say hello or good morning. Shower pressure was terrible - see other reviews. Cafe coffee decent (made up for awful instant coffee in room) but good options very limited. Not good for folks with mobility issues.

Really close to Yale. No on site parking so we had to search for parking and walk back to the hotel late at night after we arrived…and there were some iffy characters around the area. More iffy characters greeted us near our parked car at 8:30am the next morning. The best part was Kristina at the front desk! She was really friendly and helpful.

I had a great time at the Graduate. Quiet, close to campus, close to Toad's place, and close to bunch of great restaurants. Only area of improvement would be the WiFi -- it was consistent but not particularly fast.
