The cabin is lovely, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. We loved the the fire we lit in the outdoor fire pit one of the nights. We appreciated the cabin's convenient location to Wimberly and the Blue Hole, where we hiked both days of out trip and loved it. The only thing that disappointed us was the traffic noise from the highway. I know the host has no control over this because of the cabin's close proximity to the highway. In any case, it might be worth considering how to better sound proof the cabin. Other than that, we would have given it a 5 star review.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It is indeed very cozy, but it was very quaint. We were worried that with it being close to the road, it would be noisy, but it ended up being fine. We had no trouble finding the place or getting inside. The drive to town was super short so that was also very nice. Some written instructions with the hot tub might have been nice, but we figured it out. The vent fan in the bathroom seems to need a specific tool to turn on, I could not get the switch moving with just my hands. There was also a bit of a smell in the bathroom, almost like bad water or something. We lit a candle to help with that. Unfortunately, the creek was dried up but it was still a very nice landscape and a great overall experience. We might not stay at this cabin again in the future, but we loved our visit to Wimberley and we will be back! We decided we'd like a place that has more accessible trails (we don't want to have to drive too much) and a bit more room in the kitchen if we want to cook meals at home. But we decided we should also get good at using an outdoor grill, as that's what this cabin had!

Lovely property and cabin. Only note is that the entry and exit instructions were confusing. It said we had to hop the gate to enter the code from the outside to open the gate to leave. No instructions at about that were left. Otherwise, a nice stay.

Great short stay! Definitely coming back to stay longer!, everything worked cabin was very cozy and bed super comfortable, only issue is there was a burn ban in effect so i wasnt able to use the fire pit but other than that highly recomend. It was my girlfriends birthday/superbowl weekend so the free wifi/and tv really came clutch!

Overall, my wife and I had a great visit to the cozy cabin. It was secluded behind a gated fence, and the location made us feel as if we were out in nature. The cabin inside was clean and tidy; however, the outside backdoor had a rather large wasp family right above the door frame. The only issue with the amenities was that I was unable to get the television to work, even after following the laminated guide provided. This was okay though, since we didn't plan on watching much television.

Anniversary stay

We really enjoyed the Cozy Cabin. The decor and appliances were great and my wife and I really enjoyed our time there. Only a few things on the downside. We didn’t find it right away, the entrance was kind of camouflaged so we had passed right by looking for it (also unfamiliar territory). The AC wasn’t keeping up in the summer heat during the day, it was pretty warm. We didn’t know there was no stove so had to alter some plans. Besides these issues we enjoyed our time!
