Great location if you get a River view room. Rooms facing the highway are very noisy. Very indifferent Front Desk personnel. Lack of proper maintenance in the rooms...a/c didn’t work.

I loved going outside to see the river. Where the courtyard Marriott fell short was just about everything else. Will not stay there again. I booked my room through travelocity but did not get the type of room I booked. Since it was spring break, they claimed they were full! Lie! My friend decided last minute to join us at the Marriott and was able to get a “Free upgrade” to the style room I requested. I won’t even go into the cleanliness of the room. Very disappointed for what I had to pay (528 for two nights)!!!

Labor Day Getaway

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Hurricane Isaac changed our family plans of going to Florida to a weekend getaway in New Braunfels. It could not have worked out better. The hotel was outstanding as was the staff. It was in an easy in and easy out location. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Awesome hotel

I am thinking that the other two reviews listed for this property must be for a different property in the area since this hotel just opened July 1 2009 and their descriptions do not match up to this hotel. The whole hotel is very nice, brand new and has a great updated look, different than any other Marriott I have been to. It has a very "Texas Hill Country" look, with lots of stone work but has a modern twist to it. The rooms are very nicely furnished and accented with local photography pieces of the river and other area scenery. Lighting in the rooms was great. Great deck and conversation areas near the pool, and the Guadalupe River runs right next to the property. Bistro and 24/7 Starbucks service is very nice amenity. Staff was very welcoming and service was great.
