Step right up, folks, and behold the marvel that is... an average hotel! I went in hoping for a relaxing break; what I got was a dramatic feature film titled The Quest for a Non-Wet Toilet. The Battle for Basic Service The moment I approached the desk, it was clear that my needs were secondary to the thrilling office romance unfolding before me. The receptionist was too busy auditioning for the lead in "Hotel Flirt" to give me the time of day. When I finally managed to grab their attention, it wasn't to offer a helpful tip but to aggressively try and pawn off overpriced tours. I felt like I needed to check my pockets for a hidden sales pitch. My request to have the broken head shower fixed was clearly translated as "Please ignore this guest completely." It remained broken for the duration of my stay—a testament to the hotel's commitment to basic human neglect. The Room of Horrors (and Cramped Spaces) Oh, the view! Instead of azure skies or a bustling cityscape, my window offered a majestic vista of... an unfinished, abandoned house. It was like living next door to a post-apocalyptic movie set, which really did a number on the vacation vibe. And then there was the pièce de résistance: the bathroom. This architectural marvel managed to defy physics by placing the toilet virtually inside the shower. Every time I showered, it was a full-contact water sport. The poor toilet was drowned daily.

Very good hotel

Very good hotel, the manager did her best to accomodate us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The swimming pool was a nice touch and breakfast was good. I would suggest it to anyone.

Location, location, location

Location is everything. Heybe is very well located for restaurants and shopping. Hotel breakfast is good, but the coffee is terrible. Nice bar in the front garden, but no restaurant in the hotel. Indoor pool is nice—wish it were outdoor. Excellent massages. Excellent manager Ms Zeynep—smart, kind, understanding and helpful above and beyond regarding lost luggage and tour suggestions

Good hotel with decent amenities. Particularly appreciated the water bottles being brought to the rooms regularly. Easy walking distance to all of the nicest parts of Gorëme, as well as starting points for many hikes and walks beyond the village.

The location was great very close to the hot air balloon launch area in Goreme. The front desk guys were amazing and booked transportation and a day tour, very pleasant and excellent customer service! The rooftop with buffet breakfast and view were simply amazing! Hotel is bit outdated but enjoyable!

The hotel is on a quiet street less than 5 minutes from the centre of Goreme. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Rooms are a little small and we found there weren’t enough plug points for 2 of us. The room was also a little dark there is very little lighting. Indoor pool is lovely. Breakfast is plentiful snd fresh. We enjoyed our stay

I had booked this hotel on the basis that there was a safe advertised as being within the room. Upon checking in I could not find a safe in the room. I called reception to verify and they advised there is no safe. They said they would follow up with their manager (which they did not). The room itself was small and the bathroom smaller. It was outdated even though Expedia noted that it was recently renovated. I would not stay here again - don’t waste your time or your money.
