My experience at Ottoman Caves was mixed. While the location was good and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful, there were serious concerns during our stay. The hotel has no elevator, which made things difficult as I was traveling alone with a baby and stroller. Most upsetting was that one of the cleaning staff, who had a heavy cough, approached my baby, coughed directly over her, and touched her. Sadly, my baby became sick and congested shortly after, which has affected the rest of our trip in Greece. I understand people have to work even when unwell, but the hotel should enforce basic health measures like wearing a mask in those situations—especially around infants. Breakfast also lacked variety in hot options. These are important issues for families to be aware of when choosing accommodations.
