Amazing place that you’ll love!

I can’t say enough good things about this location. All of the amenities on the property, the quietness of the area, and the communication with the host! I would say this is the best VRBO I’ve stayed at. Lake shore is right off the backyard, just a 30 second walk. Plenty of things to do in the house. Cleanliness was spectacular. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful family getaway

We stayed for a family getaway for the weekend and everything was great. Even though it rained and we couldn't enjoy the outdoors there was plenty to keep the kids entertained. We appreciated the thoughtfulness around creating a kid friendly environment.

Great little getaway

We rented this home for some friends to stay in while in town for a wedding. The house was clean and well maintained. Host was responsive and helpful. Enjoyed the deck and view of the lake. There was even a trail mowed so they could walk down to the edge of the water. They had a great time.

Great lake house getaway

Great lake house, away from the Dallas traffic but close enough to enjoy everything. Hanging out by the fire pit, watching awesome sunsets, is just everyone needs to decompress. Our host was the absolute best, not only being responsive, but being proactive with any and all our needs.

Wonderful Sunset Views

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The king bed, sheets, and pillows were so comfortable! The owner was immediately responsive any time we had questions. Check in and check out was easy and painless. Far enough away from the city to enjoy the quiet, but close enough to find things to do. There are some great barbecue and taco food trucks nearby, as well as wineries, groceries, and local restaurants. The house is quirky in a delightful way. The decor complements the simple lake-house vibe of the place, and we definitely appreciated the pool table and firepit. Each day provided a beautiful sunset over the lake. We truly enjoyed our stay at this cute little lake house!

Good service, poor view

Generally the communication and service was excellent, as we would expect from an owner with multiple properties on VRBO. The location has the potential to be 5 star but the view of the lake is 98% obstructed by overgrowth. So it is presently a 3-star. Yes, we know the land is managed by the army Corp of engineers however that doesn’t mean that the trees can’t be lifted (trimmed) and underbrush mowed like other homes nearby. The property was very clean (5-star) however the home has significant deferred maintenance. It appears to be in the exact same condition as when it was listed on the MLS several years ago. We generally stay in vacation rentals in this price range and would put the overall value at 2-3 star. Overall experience a 3-star.

Family Vacation

Brought my family on a get away trip and I will definitely be booking here again soon! We had an awesome time Fishing, Kayaking, Playing Pool/family games & making so many memories! Peaceful retreat!

Truly peaceful stay on Lake Lavon. We enjoyed the views of the lake while relaxing in front of the chimnea. With a free boatlaunch nearby, we were easily able to get out on the lake to fish but still get out and about the area for dinning and fun. Great communication, fantastic accommodations.

Good communication from the property managers. We enjoyed being right by the water, it’s super quiet chilling by the fire. The place is perfect for a family to relax for a weekend and get away from the city. If you are looking to get away for a night or two this is a place you should condsider

LOVE THIS PLACE!!

This is our new go to spot whenever we travel to Dallas! The house was cozy and clean, and had the most adorable decorations. Plus our dogs loved the huge yard and lake! Robert was friendly, communicative and super helpful any time we needed something. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, we can’t wait to come back.

The reservation and check in process were smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We rented the kayaks, paddle boards and had a blast. Good location on the water and room for the kids to play outside.
