Seemed to be working short handed.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: lack of cleaning
There was a large spill or personal mishap right in the middle of my side entrance door. It was difficult to walk around. I know someone at the hotel was aware as they had placed a wet floor caution over part of it. Two hours later when I went for a snack it was still there. When I checked out the next day, it was still there. One maid was working the hall, but the spill was still there, all dried up on the carpet. I made the front desk aware & they said they'd check it out.

Somewhat disappointing during this last visit but would consider staying again.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, roominess, nice decor
Cons: cleanliness of rooms, offensive odors in rooms
During the past 8 years, we have often stayed at the BW Precious Moments Hotel in Carthage while on trips between Texas and MN and have enjoyed the nice accommodations, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and nice breakfasts. However, during our two separate stays last June, we were somewhat disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the rooms. They seemed a bit 'dingy' and reeked of perfumed cleaning solutions #so we were told#, to the point that we had to request other rooms.
