I like the hospitality of the Hotel especially Heday-san. He picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, gave us explanation about the area clearly. The hotel has private onsen and it’s very nice. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

We stayed for 17 days. The listing states "ski in / ski out access". This is untrue. The property is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. "Staff was amazing but compared to other Mercure hotels this one is very outdated (a lot of furniture was outside so they may be renovating) but wallpaper was peeling, there were marks on the walls and carpet where paintings/furniture used to be) and the beds we had were hard as rocks. As were the pillows.
That said the staff and food were exceptional"
