The room was average. Table/ shelf between beds was completely ripped off wall and hanging. Outlets by the bed did not work. Electric outlet completely uncovered leaving outlet and wires exposed. Odd smell in bathroom when i removed top of toilet the inside of the toilet was completely covered in some black grease goo. Beds are not full size queens more like full size.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! There were several jumping spiders which management squished with their foot when I alerted them. The dead spider was still there in the same place in the morning. Outdoor doors were left propped open by the pool which I assume helped the spiders to gain better access to the building. There were sloppily repaired holes in the walls and ceilings. The paint color concealing the poor patch jobs was different than the wall color. There was black mold on the walls. There was a burned out wall socket which had burn marks on it and it was concealed with a trash can. The carpet smelled disgusting and appeared discolored in several places. I refused to take my flip flops off and didn't allow our 3 year old to so either. The air conditioner in the hallway leading to our room was off when we arrived, and each time I manually turned it on it was turned back off by management. The managers\owners resided on the same floor which our room was on and the odor of their cooked food was repulsive. The pull out couch my daughter slept on was likely made in the 1980s. It was in such disrepair and flat as a pancake. There was clutter everywhere nearby to the front desk. External and internal doors were broke and repaired with duck tape. Old bathtubs and sinks were on the grass behind some palm trees close by to the pool which could be seen by all customers. Outdated, unkept, unclean, unhealthy, unsafe, unprofessional establishment.

The experience was really bad. I even called to change hotel but I wasn’t successful. I couldn’t even used the pool and spa because the water look so dirty and the area was so dirty. More stuff happened but not enough room to detail all. I don’t ever want to stay in a Days Inn hotel anymore

Old, outdated and overpriced hotel

Cons: Everything pretty much.
This hotel is old and outdated, and in dire need of some updates. I think the microwave was from the '80s! There's a sign on the side doors about card entry lock, but there's no security locks so anyone can enter the hotel without a card. Everything looks old and cheap in this motel, even the door handles and towels. For $200/night, I expected something decent, but was greatly disappointed. You can get much better hotels in Myrtle Beach for less money and closer to the beach. Plus, when I made my reservation I received one final price and then was charge some other fees. Look elsewhere.
