The place is dated and could use a deep cleaning. There was sand on the floor the moment we walked in, but we knew the place's age when we decided to rent it. What we would've appreciated, especially if we'd traveling a long way to stay here, would be some basic amenities like dishwasher soap, paper towels, and not having to buy coffee filters in order to use the coffee pot. Little things like that make the difference to us when going on a family vacation and spending 6k for a week. Include them in your pricing and elevate your guests' experience in the process. The barbecue grill downstairs was unused for months and had a layer of dirt and grime on it that made me have to clean it thoroughly before using it. The tongs for the grill were so rusted that they broke when I tried to clean them. I told the housekeepers when we were checking out and she said she was going to just throw them away. The house is spacious. We really enjoyed having a large dining table and a smaller one. There are several issues with the lamps in the master bedroom, but none that needed immediate attention during our stay. The beach access is stellar, and it's within easy walking distance to the local restaurant overlooking the inlet. The hot tub is directly underneath the house and works just fine, but in cold weather the lack of shielding from the wind saw all of us use it once and then not get back in because we felt like it was freezing when we left the water.
