Perfect getaway!

This place exceeded our expectations! There was thorough communication from the realty company. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect for easy access to Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. Being oceanfront was excellent and the beach was quiet and peaceful. We’ll be back!

Great view from the 12th Floor Oceanfront balcony. My first choice when we return will be Unit 1209 at SurfMaster will be Unit #1209. We also book through Garden City Real Estate and on the rare occasion when there’s an issue with any Unit... it’s an immediate response !

The view was great, and the elevators responded quickly and we were often the only ones riding on it. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was plenty of storage and blankets and pillows available. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, but the pull out couch was not.

The place is always clean, the Rental Company very accommodating, and we have enjoyed this location for the last four years. Just a couple of things, we as renters feel they require upgrading - the master bed mattress and the living room sofa, both are showing their age, wear and tear.

The bed and living room furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. I could actually use the cookware. The view from the balcony was so beautiful. The 12th floor was quiet even though it was the end of bike week and the beginning of another bike week. Overall I have nothing bad to say about it other than some instructions to operate the living room tv would be very helpful. We hope to return again to this same unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Surf Master 1209. This is our 2nd time staying in this unit and we will definitely be back again! From renting the unit to check in, the process was seamless. We had an issue with our deadbolt upon arrival and were being locked out. Dave, Stacey and Brad from maintenance went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get into the unit with no issues. The staff at Garden City Realty really care about their guests and show true professionalism. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable week, and the views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking!

A great two weeks!

Reviewer Comments: In reference to the four stars in the property's condition, we have a couple of suggestions. 1) The exhaust fan in the main bathroom needs to work, all it does right now is noise and does not exhaust. 2) the screen sliding door at the balcony needs a pair of wheels which will make it easier to use as we enjoy the fresh air but not the bugs. Other than that, we have had a great two weeks and we will be back next year. Thank you!
