Book a hotel near Musée d’Histoire 1939–1945, Vaison-la-Romaine

"The most beautiful prooerty in a perfect location. The house was clean and spacious, and it was nice to be both out in the countryside , but also just a short walk into town."

"We received good directions to the property and found it easily. It is a very easy fifteen minute walk into the centre of Vaison.On VRBO, the property was advertised as being a “Beautiful house with swimming pool, superb view on Mont Ventoux and old town”. The house is comfortable, but not suited to the hot temperatures we experienced, which were upper 30C, and even overnight rarely dropped below 25 in the bedroom. We asked for a fan, which improved the night time comfort slightly. There is only 1 bathroom with toilet, not 2 as described on VRBO.We were thankful for the small pool, but there was sadly no waterfall, no view of Mont Ventoux, and no hammock, as described. The galley kitchen has the essentials, and an inverter microwave oven, but limited worktop space. There is plenty of room to eat inside or out on the terrace overlooking the pool and lovely garden.We did enjoy our stay, and the walks into Vaison, which is a lovely town."
