The place had AC, overlooks the old castle, had a good breakfast, and is calm and cool at night. The owners were willing to help with any of our needs. The town is small and quiet so it was a relaxing stay. Overall very nice place!

"We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend! "
